Jenny Austin - Accountant

As a member of the McMillan Whiteman and Associates team, Jenny brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance and bookkeeping to the team. Originally working with the firm from 1996 through 1999 she left the firm to pursue other opportunities, Jenny rejoined the team in 2022. She has worked with small and medium sized businesses in an array of industries to include, Law firms, restaurants, retail and construction to name a few. She has experience working with various accounting software. 

Her responsibilities include preparing corporate and individual tax returns, bookkeeping and payroll as well as performing write up services to include compilations. Jenny routinely works with clients on bookkeeping and payroll matters. Jenny is proficient in QuickBooks desktop, QuickBooks online, Accounting CS and ultra tax software. 

Jenny is a Punta Gorda native, she has worked in public accounting, the banking industry as well as served as a financial controller of a local small business for 7 years.
