Ray E, Whiteman, CPA - Partner

As a member of the McMillan, Whiteman & Associates team, Ray brings public and private industry experience serving clients all over Florida and the U.S. His effective problem solving, leadership communication and technical skills provide the ability to properly plan and execute client engagements small and large. His background includes serving in various roles in Assurance & Advisory, Tax, Corporate accounting and Finance.

His responsibilities have included leading the A&A team on various types of engagements including Audits, Reviews, Compilations and Agreed Upon Procedures. He consults with clients on technical accounting issues and internal accounting functions. He works with small and medium sized business in the areas of tax planning and advisory. 

Ray is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida, has a Master’s degree in accounting and taxation and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Ray has lived in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte the majority of his life and is an active member of the community; he and his wife have been and still are involved with many small businesses in the community and have chosen to raise their family here.
