Sankey E. “Eddie” Webb, III (Retired)

Sankey E. Webb, III, “Eddie”, grew up in Charlotte County and graduated from Charlotte High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Auburn University. He served as an officer in the United State Air Force from 1970 to 1979 when he resigned his commission and joined Blankenship, Livings, Lamar & Company, an accounting firm in Montgomery, AL, and served as a partner in the firm from 1983 to 1985. Eddie returned to Charlotte County in 1985 and opened an independent general accounting practice in Punta Gorda, Florida that today is Webb, Lorah & McMillan, PLLC, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants. Eddie retired on June 1, 2023 after 38 years managing the firm. Eddie has served as a member of the board of trustees of Florida South Western State College, AMIkids Crossroads, Inc., the board of directors of the Punta Gorda Kiwanis Club, the Kiwanis Foundation of Charlotte County and as the treasurer of the Punta Gorda History Center, Inc.
